The 2008/2009 Season the League will start on Sat 8th November.
The Sandwell League has now been running for Seventeen years and operates from Tipton Sports Academy, Wednesbury Oak Road, Tipton, West Midlands. The league runs from November to late March and has three divisions of six teams. All games are played on Saturday afternoons between 12.30pm and 6.30pm. The League is based on the English 6-a-side version of indoor cricket rather than the Aussie 8-a-side version. The winner of the Premier League (if based in Staffs and ECB affiliated) goes on to represent South Staffordshire in the regional finals of the National Indoor Cricket Competition.
Any team that participates in the league is expected to exhibit a high degree of discipline and sportsmanship.

Asian Sports clinched the Profix GB Indoor Cricket League Cup on Saturday as they defeated Wednesbury Royals in a tense final. Batting first, Asian Sports racked up an impressive total of 113 all out.
